Our team acts on all aspects of compulsory purchase including promotion, opposition and on compensation claims.
For promoters of CPOs, we will help devise a strategy to de-risk the promotion process, negotiate the CPO indemnity agreement and help manage the project and consultant team throughout the process.
For objectors, we will agree an objective (whether that involves seeking an agreement with the promoter or defeating the CPO) and an approach for achieving it.
We are particularly well known for our expertise in litigation in land compensation claims dealing with a wide range of disputes from extinguishment claims by small businesses to major development value claims for major developers.
